Yes. Certain items have landfill surcharges and we must charge extra for these items. These include air conditioners, appliances, auto/truck tires, televisions/computer monitors and water heaters.
What does Recycling Angels do with the clutter that is removed?
With our goal to recycle up to 95 percent and through partnerships with re-use organizations, non-profit reuse centers, donation centers, salvage yards, thrift stores, recycling centers and others we divert much of the materials away from local landfills. Where we take it depends on the nature of the material. Some material will be properly disposed of at a state registered landfill.
Is Recycling Angels insured, licensed and bonded?
Yes. Recycling Angels' owners, trucks and employees are fully insured, licensed and bonded. With Recycling Angels you can be assured that your home and property are fully protected and that all items are properly disposed of. We do criminal background checks on our employees and all employees are required to wear uniforms and subject to random drug testing.
Why can't you tell me the exact price over the phone?
We will give you an estimate over the phone. However, we must actually see the volume and weight of the junk you wish to dispose of in order to give you an accurate price. You will receive a no obligation quote on site before we begin any work.
How does Recycling Angels' service compare to a dumpster?
First, we do all the loading. We arrive with a two man team to carry your items away. Second, we're more cost-effective. You only pay for the portion of the truck you use. Third, we sort and distribute materials for reuse and recycling where all mixed dumpster loads go directly into the landfill. There are other reasons, too: we arrive and complete the job within an hour or two. A dumpster is often dropped off for a week, creating an eyesore in the neighborhood. Also, in some downtown areas, dumpster service is not available due to parking restraints. Or, $ave money by using our clutter pod (15 cubic yards). You load it up, we pick it up with free use of our industrial dollie.
Can you remove clutter if I am not at home or on site?
Customers should be on site when trucks arrive. We call 15 to 30 minutes before arrival to let you know we are on the way. If you are unable to be on site, the team reviews the trash and determines pricing on arrival and calls you for confirmation. We accept credit cards over the phone.
Do you carry tools on your trucks?
Yes. Our trucks are equipped with strong and efficient team members, shovels, rakes, brooms, sledge hammers, wheelbarrows and hand trucks.
Can Recycling Angels come after hours or on weekends?
Recycling Angels is happy to try and meet your scheduling needs. Please call for assistance.
Is the cost of unloading at the dump included in my price?
Yes. The cost of proper disposal is included. However, some surcharges may apply.
How big is your truck?
Our dump bed is 15 cubic yards (14’L x 8’W x 5’H) or equal to 6 dump truck loads.
How much is a cubic yard?
3 feet high x 3 feet wide x 3 feet deep.
